How do I know which shade to get?
It doesn't need to be tricky picking from our gorgeous shades of clip in hair extensions so send us a few photos of your hair in different lights and from different angles and we’ll let you know what your best match is! hello@bobbyglam.com

How do I know which hair extension length is best for me?
Hair extensions will appear different on people of different heights and with different hair lengths so here’s a really useful tip for checking which length clip in hair extensions to buy – try measuring downwards from the top of your ear to see where the hair extensions reach on you. Easy!

How can I get in contact with you and when will you get back to me?

Can I dye my BobbyGlam hair extensions?  
BobbyGlam hair extensions can be dyed no more than 2 shades darker, unfortunately they can’t be bleached or lightened! Always complete a strand test, then you can check the result is just what you’re looking for! Be sure to follow our care guide and the dye instructions closely!

My hair is quite short, can I wear BobbyGlam hair extensions?  
Our hair extensions are perfect for hair which is jaw length but they can work on even shorter hair. If the top layers on the parting of your hair are around 4 inches then it's worth having a try. If your hair isn’t quite long enough at the moment - there’s no need to worry - try them again in a few weeks time!!

I have thin hair, will the hair extensions work for me?  
Our hair extensions are great for adding natural and glamorous thickness and volume to thin or fine hair!    
Here are our top tips:
- Be sure to fit the extensions as close to the head as possible
- It can be helpful to wear the wefts slightly lower down on the head
- Try backcombing your roots and applying some hairspray to give the extensions something better to grip onto.

What products can I use on my hair extensions?
There's an array of styling product you can use with your hair extensions. Just hover your mouse over the Hair Care tab above and select the category: Suitable For Hair Extensions.

Can I straighten and curl my hair extensions?
Our hair extensions are fab for heat styling, be sure to use a good quality heat protection treatment before using any heat tools.

Can I wash my clip in hair extensions?
You can wash your hair extensions, but you won’t need to wash them as often as your own hair. We recommend you wash your hair extensions no more frequently than every 6 weeks (and only then if it’s necessary and there’s a considerable build up of product on them). Hair extensions don’t have the natural supply of oils which our own hair has, washing them too often will dry them prematurely and we don’t want that happening!

How long will my hair extensions last?
It is impossible to predict the lifespan of extensions as the hair is a natural product and no two people will care for them in the same way. As a rough guideline, hair extensions that are worn frequently and cared for correctly can last for around 6 months! Extensions that are worn less often and cared for correctly can last for around a year!All of our orders come with a care guide, be sure to read this for tips on caring for your clip ins!

Will wearing clip in hair extensions damage my hair?
Many people turn to clip in hair extensions as glue in or sew in hair extensions have caused damage to their hair. The great news is clip in hair extensions are no more damaging than tying your hair back in a tight ponytail! But remember, we recommend you take them out before you go to bed and wear them occasionally rather than continuously - give your own hair a chance to breathe!

Why should I choose real hair over synthetic hair?
Synthetic hair just doesn't have anything great to offer - it's difficult to blend into your own hair, has an unnatural shine and an odd texture and lasts days. Human hair ticks all the boxes when it comes to achieving a natural style!
