I have previously done a lace braid hair tutorial but I find that this is a much more easier version to do and is perfect for the summer and especially at festivals.
So all you need for the lace braid hair tutorial is a couple of hair elastics and bobby pins, then you’re good to go!
The first step is to pick up the section of hair by your forehead. If you have bangs then this version of a lace braid is great way to blend it in with the rest of your hair. Split the section into three and plait a simple Dutch braid/ three strand braid by crossing each piece over and under one another. Once you have braided the section down a bit, take a hair elastic and tie off the braid. Then pin the braid back to the side of your head to where you wish for it to be pinned. To complete this step, take a section of hair from above where you have placed the plait and secure the braid with bobby pins underneath the section of hair you have just lifted. This should hide the bobby pins and hair elastic.
Sweep the hair over to one side. Then pick up the longest piece of hair that’s near to the back of the head and plait another Dutch/ three strand braid before tying off with a hair elastic.
The last step of the lace braid hair tutorial is super easy and straightforward! Simply take your braid and wrap it around the rest of the hair so that it is similar to s ponytail. When you have reached the bottom, tie the ponytail and braid together with another hair elastic. Finally, remove the hair elastic that’s tied to the three strand braid.
So what do you think? It’s really similar to the last lace braid hair tutorial I did but this one is less complicated and much more manageable for festival season- just what we like to hear!
