All you will need for this wet-look hair tutorial is:
♥ Hair Dryer
♥ Hair pins
The first step is to wet your hair and towel dry it. Then roughly blow dry your hair with a hair dryer until it is 80-90% dry.
Once you have blow dried your hair, you will need to section the top of your hair off and clip it out of the way. Then take the section above your ear on one side of your head, ready to gel. Take your Tigi Catwalk Session Series Wet Look Gel and put a blob of it on your hand. Work the gel through the roots of the section of hair and then take your brush and brush the gel right through to the tips. When you are brushing the hair, brush away from the face, slicking the hair tightly towards the back of the head. Once you have slicked it to the back, take a hair clip and pin it in place. Then take the brush and smooth over the section that you have clipped back for an ultra sleek look. Repeat this on the other side of the head too.
The next step of the wet look hair tutorial is to unclip the top section of hair and run gel through it. Again, make sure that you are applying the gel only to the roots of the hair and then brushing the hair back away from the face towards the crown of your head. Depending on how thick your hair is, you might need to use more gel to get the wet hair look and to help it stay in place. With this section of hair, we want a bit more volume than the sides so you won’t need to slick the hair back as tight as the sides, and there’s no need to use any clips here. Once you have your hair in position, you might want to take your gel and apply more to the hair, just for extra hold and for more of a wet-look.
